¶ Plex
Plex is a media server for Movies, TV Shows, Audiobooks, Music, Music Videos, Videos, Sports, and Podcasts. You can access it from a web browser or any device.

To access Plex, visit http://app.plex.tv in a web browser, or download the Plex app from your devices app store.

To stream unlimited content, use the web browser version. The App version has a daily limit unless you pay a fee.

For best viewing results, please update the Video Quality Settings to Maximum or Original as well as enable Allow Direct Play and Direct Stream on your device. This will prevent delays in watching content. This is typically in Settings. (See below)

When in a Library such as Movies, make sure you are on the “Library” tab and not “Recommended”. The Recommended tab will not show any content until you have watched something. It recommends content based on what you have watched.

Movies, TV Shows and others have Collections. These are categories I have organized to group similar types together. Christmas, Halloween, and Fast and the Furious are examples.
- Categories (Genres) are another tab you will see.
- You can search for anything at the top of the web browser on the plex website. If something is on the server, it will show COPELAND in orange. (See below)

To Request any Movies or TV shows that are not in Plex, please use the Seerr service listed on the Seerr guide page. Also please submit any issues with either Plex under Report Issue (See below), or with Seerr.

To Listen to Audiobooks & Podcasts, please use the free Prologue App (iOS only). Once you sign in with your Plex account, it will automatically show Audiobooks and Podcasts from Plex. You can then listen to them with controls better suited for Audiobooks. For info, see the Prologue page.

To Listen to Music, use the free Plexamp App. I personally use Apple Music, so I don’t use this at all. It is here as an alternative for anyone that needs it.

Preroll videos I have created will start playing before Movies only. It’s a short introduction like clip that begins before the movie, kind of like the Netflix duh duh intro. (See below example)
- To report something wrong with an item on Plex, simply navigate to that item, and click on the 3 dots

Click on Report Issue and a prompt window will open.

Describe the issue and send. This could be any type of problem such as it doesn't play, the audio is in a different language, the video is messed up, or the movie is the wrong one. I won't know if something is wrong unless I get notified.

I will receive an email with the issue report and I can fix the media item from there. When the fix is completed, I will respond so you know it has been fixed.
